The ease of making homemade dog treats has changed so much since I first began making them a few years ago.

I've been baking dog treats whenever the notion occurs to me as a little treat for my four-legged friends for quite a while and I love sharing my recipes.

This dog treat recipe is by far my dog's favorite compared to any treat I have ever bought from the store!

I'm also very particular about what my pets eat. I usually make my bone broth at home, but for this recipe, I changed the recipe for simplicity of ingredients and for things I knew both you and I would have on hand in our pantry and refrigerator.

You only need four ingredients to make these homemade dog treats.

It's pretty simple, right?

Using Oats, whole wheat flour, beef broth, and an egg will make the best and easiest homemade dog treats ever.

It is also easy to make these dog treats and you can make them regularly to share with friends during the holidays for their pets.

It doesn't matter what cookie cutter or biscuit cutter you use. It makes about 30 dog treats with the mini cutter and about 8 with the large cutter. Making different shapes and sizes is a great experience.

Whole Wheat Flour - Most local health-food and grocery stores carry wheat flour as the most popular type of flour for dog treats.

Oatmeal - Besides being high in fiber, oatmeal contains a variety of nutrients, minerals, and antioxidants. Oatmeal, when served moderately, has many benefits for dogs. It is a significant source of soluble fiber, which regulates blood glucose levels and can help dogs with irregular bowl movements.

Egg - An egg helps to bind all the ingredients together.

Beef Bone Broth - Dogs can benefit from bone broth because it's loaded with nutrients. It contains many vitamins and minerals, as well as protein, glycine, collagen, and glucosamine. It’s hydrating. Best of all, dogs love the flavor and they find it easy to digest.

📖 Directions

Preheat oven to 350° Degrees Fahrenheit.

Simply mix the flour and oatmeal. Measure beef broth and add egg, slightly beat together. Add it all together.

Once you have a dough ball. Roll it onto a lightly floured surface and roll to ¼ inch thickness. Cut with your favorite doggie cookie cutter.

Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Let Cool and treat your fur baby. Be sure to let your treats cool completely before storing your treats.
